It actually mentions Newcastle. We got the least snow for the year. :)  And I'll stop complaining about the hail here... One place got 6 inch stones!!!  After seeing the damage done by hailstones less than 2 inches in diameter, I can only imagine dealing with the 6 inch stuff. Always questioned the warning to find shelter before ANY storm, but I think I'll pay more attention from now on. Not that I willingly go out in it anyway, of course.  But if I was out, and saw a big storm coming, I think I'll be looking for a bridge underpass or something. YIKES
