US neoconservative commentator William (Bill) Kristol is terrified that if Donald Trump becomes president, he might try the perpetrators of the 9/11 coup d'etat for mass murder and high treason, an American scholar and researcher says.

I've never figured out why anyone would give a damn what Bill Kristol thought or wanted. sigh

Some pretty far out stuff.  If Trump "knows about 911" then he was in on it, because he sure as hell is NOT a Truther.  Unless that's how he plans to lose the GOP nomination and make his independent run to ensure a Hillary victory.

The moment he comes out as a Truther (not going to happen, imo) he will lose ALL those "Mericuh is never wrong" voters out there, who are precisely the demographic who are falling for his current schtick.

...falling for his current schtick.

You know, this is where LRC has been incredibly disappointing IMHO. Lew, and others, seem to be so giddy over Trump's political presence disturbing The Establishment, that I have not seen any real criticisms of Trump on the LRC site. Perhaps there has been, but nothing stands out in my memory as being substantial. And there are those who tailor their beliefs similar to Lew's and are supporting Trump. It's one thing to take pleasure in seeing your enemy squirm, it's quite another to not sound the alarms and waste the opportunity to educate (or remind) the readers who pass by your site. Maybe LRC assumes that the Dear Readers are already informed?...

Probably.  I have been listening to Lew and Tom Woods doing their post-debate commentaries on the GOP debates.  I heard the words "sociopath" used profusely, so yeah...  I think they kind of assume that people know that enjoying the spectacle is NOT an endorsement.

The #1 thing about Trump that worries me is that he wants to make all muslims wear a special ID so we can tell them apart. I'm no muslim, but it's a slippery slope and any non christian group could be next.

Quote
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

If a nazi got elected president, would you exterminate it early, before it instituted its final solution?

Nope. I'd flee the country along with my family.

I read the article (can't do videos) and my "suspension of disbelief" alarm is ringing like a fire alarm.

This looks like a "secret knowledge" ploy to make money off of a gullible public. Everyone did notice the book for sale link at the end of the article right?

Nope. I'd flee the country along with my family.

Fair enough. It was mostly a rhetorical question. I don't expect anybody to publicly answer yes.

Friends,

I don't believe that the US Government perpetrated the destruction of the twin towers on 9-11.

It isn't beyond Government Wickedness—but it would have a fearsome downside risk. It would be very hard to insure secrecy and there are far easier ways to rack up a far higher body count and achieve the same political effect…

Sarin in the New York Subway system for instance along with Bread Crumbs pointing to Iraq's "Weapons of Mass Destruction" Program.

So far as what Trump, Bill St Clair, hillary or Peewee Herman's thoughts on the issue are…

First they need to convince me that they have the minimum IQ and the ability to think Logically before I'll even listen to what they have to say…

Except to note the effects of said opinion upon the Mindless Mind of the Proletariate.

If anybody answered yes, they'd be swat raided. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life.

Hitler's own cronies who were so uber competent otherwise, couldn't even kill him with a bomb under his damn coffee table (read up on Project Valkyrie, they even made a movie about it now)... and... that anyone remotely familiar with history trying it on a more modern Hitler would expect to have better results when the teaching of language, science and math is so atrocious, they'd be lucky if they could even put together a plot on paper, nevermind execute it chemically, mechanically and on a proper timeline.  Seriously, if anyone is expecting to defeat government by some magic "cut off the head of the snake" they're screwed folks.  Nevermind that this snake is a hydra in its final stages (few million heads to cut off, whoever wants to pull off that stunt ain't gonna have enough torches to sear the stumps anyways.)

The best we can hope for is that enough technologists develop an alternative to government, and they're smart enough to deny evil the confrontation it desires until the evil withers on the vine.  Religion is an atrocious failure which handed the world over to evil.  Government is that evil.  We're badly in need of a practical, working, alternative which isn't garbage and doesn't hand the world over yet again to the existing evil nor to the luddite barbarians waiting for their chance to plunge everyone into the dark ages all over again, either.

The best part is that this has the opportunity to be a game changer, not just a change of regime or of the winning team or the captains of the team.  It can be a total game changer and peaceful change of said game, resulting in the bad guys having nobody to oppose them (and thus nobody upon whom to wreak violence while claiming it self defense.)

I don't have a working solution myself.  The braintrust I was lead to believe existed here, does not.  But if the only hope we have is to survive the apocalypse and learn to make butter with a churn, we'll all end up with the same technical advantage as muslims hiding in caves.  Aka... they only win the battles which the rulers allow them to win to keep them credible enough as a threat for the news pundits to yap about enough to convince the morons that the cave troglodytes are some kind of threat.

RVM45:
I don't believe the government perpetrated it either.  After all, its not like the "electee" neocons had published their plans and desires for a "new Pearl Harbor" in their website PNAC (Project for a New American Century) .org site or anything that obvious, right?  Oh wait, they did... and that site stayed up without modifications for a LONG time too.

Even if they don't have any fancy undisclosed technology to do such things, even if 19 guys with box cutters and no educations to speak of, pulled a physics breaking feat the buildings were designed to withstand and broke design... even if all that was true, Condoleeza and a few of her cronies stood the FBI down, last I heard.  911 Report or not, you don't need to run every single peon in an organization to run a conspiracy.  You just have to have the right man (woman?) for the job in the right position to call that shot.  Everything else falls into place with obedient drones doing what obedient drones are trained to do.  Each and every time.
