Well we got our first snow today 11/5/15, here in Casper, Wy

the ground is still to warm to stick on the roads, but the grass was covered.

No snow here. Cold enough, but just a few rain sprinkles. I'm ready, however. Firewood in and new storm door on the back... Let 'er rip. :)

Ha!  Metro Phoenix high today was 68F.  Low tonight 45F.  6-10" snow up in Flagstaff yesterday.

6 inches of wet, heavy stuff started falling last night into this morning.  My folks (live in the NW corner of Iowa) got 10 inches.  Snow blower got a workout and the kids spent at least 5 hours out there!

We got a good inch of snow Thursday night/Friday morning. Low temp this morning was 3... Frosty, man, frosty! :)

we had about 2 to 3 inches in Casper, most of it did blow away, but there is still about a inch on the ground.
yes it is cold here now.
was looking at northern Chicago area, they got about 5 inches Friday and are to get about 7 more Sat. heavy wet snow there.

The cold and snow actually snuck up on us somewhat. It's been quite nice and warm the last few weeks, so it was a shock to go out to the grocery store yesterday afternoon and realize it was past time, for sure, to put away my summer shoes. My toes were frozen just between the house and the car. Dug out my old winter boots this morning... and I think I need to go shopping. They are in terrible shape. :)
