"Jade Helm"
« on: May 09, 2015, 09:37:18 am »

Mike Vanderboegh has some good ideas about this thing.
http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/2015/05/people-get-grip-jade-helm-is-not.html
People, get a grip. Jade Helm is not an attempt at martial law. It IS designed to prep the future battlefield by provoking hysteria through disinformation. (And they're doing a pretty damn good job of that courtesy of loons like Alex Jones.)  <snip<
Of the claims I have seen, it is obvious that every ridiculous piece of disinformation from the 90s has been resurrected for this one, including the old hoary "rail cars with shackles" canard. Personally, were I a militia unit commander in the Jade Helm Area of Operations, I would take the advice above and have my folks -- in civilian clothes -- follow, watch and learn. Monitor, to the extent that it is possible, their movements. Observe their tactics. Document them. After-action analyze what you learn. I doubt very seriously if you will be able to monitor their communications, but much can be learned -- especially by your friendly sources within local law enforcement in the AO -- about what is happening.

Try to remember that all this disinformation-driven hysteria does is discredit your position. IT IS DESIGNED TO DO THAT. If the PTB can use things like this to convince serious people who might otherwise be our allies that we are all just a bunch of Alex Jones loons, then they have shaped the future battlefield in unseen ways that are to their advantage. Keep calm, watch and learn.

Iceberg dead ahead.
Don't bother me, my bunk is warm and comfy.

Maybe.
Maybe not.

Foolish to assume that just because Alex Jones claims something that it is wrong.

It is a real good time to review preps, plans and community.

I listen to Jones a few times a week.  I haven't heard him say that Jade Helm is martial law coming this summer.  He has said that this is getting the populace used to seeing lots of men and materiel moving throughout their states and towns.  And, as most of us on this forum know; it seems that many drills just happen to 'go live' during their course.

I'm taking a trip to Texas in about a month to see my in-laws.  You can bet your bottom dollar I'll be armed.  Will there be checkpoints and goons stopping me demanding to see my papers?  I highly doubt it.  However, I will be keeping my head on a swivel the whole time.

Suit yourselves, obviously. Someone who always seems to be on the scare mongering bandwagon simply doesn't get much of my attention. I just don't have time or patience for that nonsense, and don't see any benefit to steering people that way either.

The Jade Helm map has continued to play in my head.

I understand the coasts are toast, the population centers are easily subdued and the real problem area for a police state takeover is the heartland. But why are they concentrating on the southern midsection to the exclusion of the north?

Ding.

Two maps overlayed in my head.

Yellowstone caldera and Jade Helm.

Gotcha covered.

The complete thought with pictures:

This is getting weird.  Jade Helm might be perfectly fine and "harmless" (I use that term subjectively) but there is a lot of discussion and questions about it at this time, and it is only a week away.  Disallowing media access and honest reporting is a terrible way to allay any concerns that people might have.

The first "red flag" I got about the "Waco incident" in 1993 was when I read that the media had been denied access to the area and physically kept several miles back from the "compound".  I just find it unbelievable that the fed. would do something like this under the circumstances.

Can they seriously expect people to believe "move on folks, nothing to see here, just believe exactly what we tell you coz we know what is good for you silly little people"?  Maybe the MSM would just parrot the "official line" anyway, but may not either.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2015/07/08/jade-helm-15-heavily-scrutinized-military-exercise-to-open-without-media-access/

Jade Helm 15, the controversial Special Operations exercise that spawned a wave of conspiracy theories about a government takeover, will open next week without any media allowed to observe it, a military spokesman said.

Embedded reporters won’t be permitted at any point during the exercise, in which military officials say that secretive Special Operations troops will maneuver through private and publicly owned land in several southern states. Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria, a spokesman for Army Special Operations Command, said his organization is considering allowing a small number of journalists to view selected portions of the exercise later this summer, but nothing is finalized.

Lots of information here: Level 9 News on GEOINT and JADE HELM 15  http://oathkeepers.org/oktester/level-9-news-on-geoint-and-jade-helm-15/ From OathKeepers.

I can't get anything out of the video stuff, of course, but this might interest some of the rest of you.

...and furthermore... don't forget that there will be hundreds of thousands - if not a million - people in the area with cameras of one kid or another. They will be recording much of this, and will flood the internet with anything hinky. The general public with a cell phone is now the most likely objective "news" reporter. And this is why control of the internet is so vital to the government.

I doubt it. We don't have any urban areas outside of Cheyenne... and the febbies are welcome to that. LOL The people who live there might have something to say about it, of course.

Every state mentioned as being part of this thing is populated with well armed people. That's the thing that puzzles me. I sure hope the goobers don't intend to start the next war here, but I wouldn't put it past them.

Not worried about "martial law" or any real takeover... we still outnumber them seriously. Even in Wyoming.

Texas is going to monitor things significantly, it seems.

No guarantees if you head south, of course, but you are likely to be safe up here in the NE corner... :)

Can't remember where you said your job was, but you might look at the little towns around Guernsey. There's a tiny hamlet just north of there off hwy 270, called Hartville - that puts me in mind of "Hardyville" every time I go through there. There is exactly one restaurant, and one post office... a church and a volunteer fire department.  Might be too small for you, of course. :)

Hartville is a town in Platte County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 62 at the 2010 census. Wikipedia

    Population:
        63 (2013)
    Area:
        192 acres

The grapevine and gossip brigade is MURDER in every small town, unless you're like ML.  Old and deemed harmless.  If you're young and carry a gun, BRING LOTS OF RESOURCES... YOU WILL BE ALONE.  They will label you a freeman, freestater or whatever the latest statist boogie man might be.  Assume anyone wanting to visit just wants to case your place.  This has been the case with me.  With.  Each.  And. Every.  Visitor.  Mama Liberty might have been the ONLY visitor/friend/contact out here who didn't visit for something to gossip about.  That's damn rare!  The "locals" on the other hand... they're just looking for something juicy to spill to their buddies to feel important and "informed."

And if you are a "militia nut" or "freeman" or "freestater" have no fear, the locals are SO anti government and pro freedom that they'd sell you to the fibbies so fast you won't see it coming.  At 62 people, expect 50% to be government employees, and the other 50% retired and on the government teat.  You bring a few hundred grand and then some to spare and get used to living super cheap and without anything you enjoy and a dwindling supply of ever higher priced ammo... and you'll be fine.  Hopefully you detect the sarcasm.

If you want to live like the afghans and arabs in a cave... Wyoming or "small town" wherever will work.  Just don't expect it to work any better than the afghan caves are working for those guys.  This place was viable as long as they had a stranglehold on the energy trade.  "Our saudi and other OPEC allies" put an end to that by selling oil at a loss, far as I hear from the patch (Ghost would have more on this.)  Now half my neighbors who were never here and their wives stayed home and bought expensive pickups, traded in their pickups for economy sedans and the hubbies who never cooked at home unless they were grilling 12.00/lb fancy beef or buffalo, are spending time cooking with the honey and out job hunting or relocating to cheaper places.

All I'm saying bro, is BE CAREFUL, and don't make the mistake of thinking people in Wyoming are like people in the big city, minding their business, and largely benevolent leave me alone and I'll leave you alone folks.  Here, not only do they not look away, but they will pry into your business, but not to help.  Some are genuine friendly folk, but the percentage of those versus the vitriolic gossips... minuscule.  In this place, anyone being friendly... is likely not.  In fact, my normally gregarious attitude is viewed as hostile and offensive to most of the locals.  Took me 3 years to figure out why.  I strike up a conversation because, you know, in those hippie places that have a Trader Joe's, I'd strike up a convo in line, and the crews that shop there are generally fairly educated, intelligent, also friendly folk with stuff to add to the conversation.  Here, strike up a conversation that isn't about some bullshit provincial, unimportant issue, not even important to the moles wiping out your garden, and you'll be seen as pumping them for info and not minding your business.  Because this is how the majority behave when they want to tap you for info they can gossip about.

Julio and anyone else.  If you choose to move to Wyoming, keep your mouth shut, don't be friendly.  Assume anyone appearing to be friendly... is not.  Keep details of your life or past hidden.  Work away from town.  Don't even waste time applying.  If they ask, if there's a job available, etc, assume it is just done to get you to feed them info.  You won't get the job if there's the remotest, slightest, tiniest MOTE of a chance that someone's kid once dreamed about trying it out.  If they offer work, they will offer you work... so long as you do it cheap, do a great job, and they'll randomly stop calling for no intelligible reason.  Sometimes they'll offer you work just to get info from you.  Once they get it, you'll never hear from them again.  Do your math on this.  If they assume you're a free stater or you open carry, even if its for legal reasons, and because there's goddamn mountain lions leaving softball sized paw prints in the kid playground in th emiddle of town... you carry openly and you're instantly labeled a trouble maker.

The only time offered work is legit is when its "help me for 50 bucks" under the table stuff.  That's legit.  They're just asking for help and willing to pay.  If its a job which requires paperwork... that's probably the cleverest way to pump people for legit info about themselves.
