Since the removal of 'George's Place', it seems a few of the links in the first post are dead. Starting tomorrow, I'll post the missing pieces on my blog and send Plinker a list so that he can re-link when he gets a chance.

Let me know when you are done, and where the links are.  I'll be ready B)

I have just updated the first post in this thread.  I added some of George's more recent stuff, and cleaned up a few dead links, etc...

Enjoy!

Appreciated as usual, Plinker.

I'll get around to posting some of the stuff with broken links on the blog soon. I've got them all arranged. Lately, though, our always horribly crippled dialup is even more crippled than usual. These freakin' phone lines must date back to when Bell was a risky looking startup -- we average a 21.6 connection. Yeah. They're supposedly doing an overhaul, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I have not read any of Potter's work yet. Is there any available on line to sample? Thanks!

There are a bunch of links in this thread. I've got quite a few collected at http://billstclair.com/blog/gloryroad/ . And then there's George's blog, http://markettheocracy.blogsome.com/

What ever happened to George? Wasn't he the "Undefined" poster above in this thread?

Thanks, Bill. I got the idea that all the old links were not good anymore. Should have known you'd capture at least some of it. :)

Will explore.

George has been on and off the forum a couple of time, under a couple of different nyms. He's currently off. That's what it means when a poster's name doesn't link to their profile page and it says "Guest" underneath. And, yes, it appears that George changed his name to "Undefined" before leaving this time.

i have read A LOT, of books, and i have to say that the story " the crumbler", is as good as ANYTHING i have ever read. i am not a big steven king fan, ( think he is too long winded), i am a dean koonz fan and have read everything he has written. i have to say " the crumbler", is top notch, and would sell like hotcakes. did it ever get finished??????    i saw where he mentioned something about writing 90,000 words for it or something. if anyone knows where it can be read, purchased, or anything else please let me know...
