Of course Senator Feinstein's bill is outrageous.  What else would you expect from her.  MSSA has joined a coalition of other national and state-level groups in opposition to everything in the Feinstein bill.  See the release about that at:  progunleaders.org/congress

The scuttlebutt is that the Obama crowd has set the initial stakes high so they can look reasonable compromising on "universal background checks" (no private sales - sales only through federally-licensed dealers), aka universal gun registration.

If there are any of you who haven't read the study of gun registration during the 1900s by the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (jpfo.org - "Lethal Laws"), every genocide of the 1900s was preceded by gun confiscation, which was preceded by mandatory gun registration for those who would later be the genocide victims.

As more Montana sheriffs go public with statements in response to the letter MSSA signed and sent to them, I will be updating the material at: progunleaders.org/mtsheriffs

I did interviews today with NBC-Montana, the New York Times, and the Helena Independent Record.  The HIR reporter wanted to talk about "assault weapons" and sheriffs.   I said I'd thought he was probably calling me to confirm that I actually own SenatorXaucus.com.  He said, "WHAT?"  That may be in the news tomorrow too.

About SenatorXaucus.com, keep plugging it.  It now comes up on the first page of a Google search for Senator Baucus.  Let's see if we can get it to the first item on that page. ;-)  Just go to Google and search for Senator Baucus, then click on the link offered to SenatorXaucus.com, as many times as you like.

Another of MSSA's several bills has been introduced, House Bill 302, to prohibit state enforcement of any federal ban on semi-auto firearms/magazines (think Feinstein).  Other MSSA bills are getting introduced.  I'll email you an update on all introduced MSSA-related bills this Saturday or Sunday.

Enough for now ...

It comes up as an alternative and has a link to rumormill now.  Google apparently spotted the effort........

What a piece of work that guy is, involved in some way with just about everything that has been part of the growing problem.   I wonder if he is a common causer?

Most of the time news is about the same old violations of the first principles of consent and golden rule with a dash of force thrown in........ with just enough duct tape to be believable.

whois finds no domain registered for senatorxaucus.com. It DOES find senatorbaucus.com, registered to Gary Marbot, in Missoula, Montana (President of the Montana Shooting Sports Association).
