For those of you who don't know what a Rock Opera is, here ya go:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neNlYUu5J0Q&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLjdPmXzD81-XcJgwj8Ek5UQ

The first LP I ever bought.  Just outstanding in every way...  arguably The Who's finest work.

Enjoy.

Change gears for a minute...

This is "Timshel"...

"Timshel," a word that loosely translates as "thou mayest;" the word suggests that we as humans, with the consciousness we "achieved" by eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden, can in every moment CHOOSE our behavior; we can choose between good and evil."

The Raconteurs, Carolina Drama, The "From The Basement" version that I downloaded from youtube.  I like it better than the album version.  I wish I would have gotten to see them live when they were together.

Doors and Windows, title track from Doors and Windows by Bearfoot.  Heard this song on radiostation this afternoon in Cheyanne for first time and it blew me away.  Super talented group.

OTEP does some seriously corrosive stuff for provoking thought.  Like Boston tends to do for me too, only the music by Boston is way mellower.

t.A.T.u. and Indigo Girls. I've been listening to these 2 bands a lot lately.

All The Things She Said - t.A.T.u.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mGBaXPlri8
(If you work at a fundie church or Chick Fil-A, this is NSFW. Otherwise you're good to go. This video made history 12 years ago.)

Closer to Fine - Indigo Girls
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUgwM1Ky228
(I find their music really comforting. It's kind of folksy.)

For those of you who know you should have lived in the 1880's, or thereabouts...
