Montana Rose at the hayloft.

One day I will see them live at the Willow Creek Saloon!!!!!!!!!!

I love this song of theirs. I listen often to the CD studio copy.

and kickin' off when you're tired and sore...

Yea, Brother! She's tops around these here parts, to be sure. That song you like, "Boots", was written by Mike Beck, who was until last year playing lead guitar for them.
Rags, I'm so glad you've got some of their music. The more you listen to it, the better the odds are that some fine day you'll move yourself out here where you belong, yes? ;) It's been way too long since you were out here, Mon!

I've been out here more than ten years now. Startin' to feel like a Montanan. Of course, being friends with Montana Rose helps too. As you know, she lives right here in Willow Creek, a town of less than two hundred souls and a lot of cows, horses, dogs and katties. She met Kenny when they were both Nashville musicians far from their beloved mountains, and when they got married she tore up her RCA recording contract and they headed back home to Big Sky country. They made it back here years before I got here, and had their kids half-grown by the time I was moving into Willow Creek. Because Claudia knows I was from Memphis and north-Georgia, she sometimes drops by here with some home-made turnip greens and ham-hocks, smiling with that thousand dollar smile as she reminds me that she knows what I must be missing since moving here. Over the years she's become a true friend, and a great one. I do catch her at the Saloon sometimes, or at her house, or at other times out in one little town Saloon or another, such as at Pony, Montana. Sometimes she stops by my place here for a visit. She's always on stage, always beautiful, always full of song. Like you, Brother, I play Montana Rose songs here often. ;)

Thanks for the linky!
Salute!

I recently not only listened to but also watched a song on YouTube that's kind of a sequel to Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire!".
