New crackdown for chickens

Quote
During the bird-flu scare in 2005, the Homeland Security Council held a presentation to generate a “national strategy for pandemic influenza,” and a report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture said free-range and organic poultry “may present an increased risk of exposure to avian influenza....”

The Key West City Commission passed a resolution in 2006 urging residents to take note of the potential danger, and directing staff to pursue efforts to remove them from public places.

“There is certain amount of health concerns, with their fecal matter from the chickens,” commissioner and Monroe County Health Department employee Clayton Lopez said

Though city officials discourage it, feeding stray cats is perfectly legal.

The tip of a new iceberg? This will bear watching.

Corporate mono cropping, with it's large scale concentration of waste and close proximity of animals in less than sanitary conditions is far more dangerous. This looks like a new fear mongering tactic to attack something the powers that be want to squash, which is the individual's ability to feed themselves and engage in small scale commerce outside of the controlled markets.

Zactly.

Non-mainstream thinking is a threat. Outlaw thinking by backdoor methods via banning all outward signs of thinking.
