This thread is for mods to log their moderator actions publicly.  Each entry should contain the following information:

Action taken.
Author of the post.
Reason for the action.

For example:

Deleted post in General by Scarmig for advocating illegal activities.

Hey!  Looks like somebody fixed all the old non-working tcftalk links in all the old messages, so that they are now functional thementalmilitia.com links.

Sorry, I forgot to announce it. I did it over the Thanksgiving weekend. Took about an hour, as I remember. Just a couple of dozen lines of PHP code.

Okay, so I hope I just deleted his account and posts.
I may need help if he comes back in a new evil incarnation to ban the isp specific address, however.
Please let me know if you see anything else I missed cleaning up.
I will be here another hour or so, then must go do a radio interview.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, feralfae. That was well (and quickly!) done. He was moving so fast through the threads with his visual & verbal defacements that I wasn't sure the mods would be able to keep up with him.

I know the new mod policies are gentler than my Evil Mod policies were. But I do think there are cases like this one where any mod should be able to make an emergency ban -- make it a day or a week long, then permanent only if the other mods agree. But that's just my outsider's opinion. Thanks for saving us from all that spewing.

I have a great interview, not preparing crab bisque, torte au chocolat Callebaut with whipped cream and raspberries, and some seared summer squash, and moose steaks for a dinner party with some Magito Zin.  Yum.

And the guests are arriving.
At least the table is set already.   :laugh: :laugh:

Glad to see you guys "took care of" that asshole.  If you continue to have problems maybe you can get the GYHD troll swat team, a permit. We could make it so he never wants to return.  We have had great luck with the troll gang bang technique.
