Anarchist

NOT a synonym for "bomb thrower" or "Nike-wearing anti-globalist window smasher." An anarchist is a person who believes that individuals and groups can be (and in fact, in daily life usually are) self-governing without the dubious "help" of any state or nation.

Or as some wag once put it: "Anarchism is not a synonym for 'chaos.' Now government, on the other hand ..."
