31 Days to Survival

(1/1)

S. Jester:
This is the title to M.D. Creekmore's new book(at this time) in which he puts forth how to get yourself prepared in 31 Days. He probably doesn't expect you to do it in real life. He does mention that you don't have to do it all in 31 days, he does encourage that you keep moving forward on your prep, so that perhaps you can be done sooner tha you realized.

It's a small book, each "chapter" represent a day and is "bite sized" for the most part, probably so that you don't feel overwhelmed by anything.

If you are just starting out or don't feel "complete" in your preps, then this may be the book for you. This book is basically a book-sized big checklist of things to figure out.

A good introduction to prepping. However if you been prepping for while and have been thorough and diligent in researching what you need, then you don't need this book.

Creekmore does give his opinion on what you should be looking for, however he acknowledged that you need to configure your preps to fit you, your "situation" and your location. For example, he does go into the differences of each kind of kits that you should be getting together. The differences between a 72 hours B.O.B.,  an EDC, and an evacuation bag. Also he is real in choosing the guns. No, he doesn't try to convince you to go all Rambo, quite the opposite, he shoots down that concept. He do acknowledge that you may have different tastes in guns than he has. So you would be free to choose your own, provided you get some to cover seperate "abilities". No all-in-one super survival guns here. He shoots even that concept down.

Not a big book, you can knock the whole thing off in no more than a few hours. So try to pick this up on a sale or such where you can save money. If you want something more intensive or substantial then you'll be better of going with something else.
