Does one of these bullets have your name on it?
« on: March 30, 2012, 12:56:00 AM »

...or your spouse's name or your child's name?  Let us pray not...

The Department Of Homeland Security Is Buying 450 Million New Bullets

Quote
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office is getting an "indefinite delivery" of an "indefinite quantity" of .40 caliber ammunition from defense contractor ATK.

U.S. agents will receive a maximum of 450 million rounds over five years, according to a press release on the deal.

The high performance HST bullets are designed for law enforcement and ATK says they offer "optimum penetration for terminal performance."

It's a sick, sick world we're livin' in.

Why hollow point ammo? Don't need that for target practice...

Moonbeam: No, you don't need hollow point for targets.

That said, it's what the specs for the Canadian Armies Sig-Sauer call for, so that's what we kill paper with.  There is no approved target load for the CF small arms.

There is for tanks, aircraft, artillery and APC though..

If its ICE/INS type people, its for shooting brown people, or "wetbacks" or whoever wants to cross a line on a map guarded by a whole bunch of make work useless eaters.  I would expect republicans and other "conservatives" to be having a happy day for this, it means ICE will be murdering "wetbacks" and "meskins" now.

As for me, the only real sin I see the meskins being "guilty" of, so to speak, is worshiping another false god.  Their government in Mexico.  Granted for most simpletons and simple minded critters, their government's flag is their own "cultural identity" no differently than for Americans, it isn't the rattle snake on the yellow (as it rightfully should be) its the federal flag from DC.  Possibly the main reason why gringos and latinos hate each other so much, its on behalf of their governments that they do, and their governments greatly approve of it, as hatreds keep the government institutions from being irrelevant and rightly seen as the useless and damaging parasites that they actually are.

Nothing new.

+1 to Jim's comment.

Actually, I think it's intended primarily to put a huge crimp (no pun intended) in the ammunition and component supply. If primers and powder are in short supply because of a government contract, that makes ammo expensive and hard to find for everyone else. Also, if you're not paying for it, you'll happily practice with hollow points.

Both government WANT the parasites! Predatory parasites are stupid, useful, and the imported racism is aimed in the correct direction that the US government wants and uses.

Culturally incompatibility problems, want to find a better place, do so and abandon the sources of the problems rather than bring them with you, embrace them and then try and force that on your host population.

And it is a host population, a pressure valve for Mexico and lots of freebees to attract them here - freebees that are stolen (taxed) from the host population.

HST is a very old pistol design...

Bonded core lead (basically soldered to the jacket) likely a hard lead mix, with a jacket and lead that are pre-cut into a “flower petal” shape.

Bulk is cheap, and your tax dollars can buy the best ammo to punch paper with.

Mountain Prepper, way I see it is exactly so, but the thing is, the local populace worships the tyrants oppressing them just as the Mexicans worship their tyrants, even after they fled to come work amongst the gringos they hate so much, who will actually pay them serious cash for their labor.  Ironic, is it not?

Ironic and counter productive...

Stop the freebies, allow free exchange of labor - seems simple but then we have racism (on the part of the Mexicans as well as the opposite used to bludgeon us into guilt) cultural incompatibility, and the deliberate manipulation.

USDA Orders 326,000 Rounds of Ammunition As Homeland Security Stays Quiet Over 450 Million Round Order
The Intel Hub
April 4, 2012

In the last few weeks the fact that the Department of Homeland Security recently ordered 450 million rounds of hollow point ammunition (which was on top of the 2 million ordered in 2009) has been heavily discussed by numerous alternative media outlets.

For their part, the corporate controlled media and the DHS itself have chosen to stay quiet, refusing to answer inquiries as to why they need millions of hollow point bullets at a time when they are largely focusing on domestic operations. ...<snip>...

Does it really matter who they might be planning to shoot... with these or anything else?

Some have said here that if such goons do come around to shoot you, shoot them first, then take their guns and ammo.

Easier said than done, I'm sure.
