"Operation false flag" a modern primer
« on: August 31, 2011, 06:25:38 AM »

This is a brilliant article:

http://www.activistpost.com/2011/08/operation-false-flag-modern-primer.html

Definition: When governments or organizations (usually connected to the former) stage highly sophisticated attacks on their own or foreign soil with the purpose of placing the blame on a desirable enemy foreign or domestic, one who has otherwise done no wrong. Essentially a setup, it provides the government entity with an excuse via fabricated evidence in complicity with media to fulfill its various agendas (i.e. war or law making).

As false flag operations gain further ground and frequency, the better you know their history, the sooner you can recognize when they are about to happen or as they occur.

to paraphrase, sort of like letting someone (or getting someone!) to take a poke at you so you could kick their a$$ and say "they started it!"

No I think it's more like hurting yourself (or your child, or family member) and blaming someone else so that you can kick their a$$ and say they were the agressor and "started it".

I read all of the alternative news sites, and Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura, David Icke (to an extent - up until the shape-shifting reptiles, which I just cannot even begin to embrace), most "conspiracy theories" where they don't involve extraterrestrials (I just cannot believe in extra-terrestrial civilisations).

I got into this stuff relatively late.  It all started with a chance browsing of the local paper in (I think) 1999 or 2000 when I saw a headline about an infra-red technology expert who had found damning evidence against the FBI in Waco, Texas, in 1993, being "found dead" of a "heart attack".  Surprisingly for this little old mainstream media rag, the words "heart attack" were in inverted commas.  The article was obviously written by someone who was very, very cynical of the "official story" of the Waco seige.  I had not given this subject much thought before this, but after reading that (short article, about four paragraphs) I started researching it, and found more and more horror stories of governments and the FBI in particular.  It certainly wasn't hard to find info. about the Waco seige, I went to the library (about 100 yards away at the time) and there were "tons" of books on it, all basically saying the same thing.  Not the official story that the mainstream media had been pushing.

Saw a bumper sticker somewhere:  "perfect paranoia is perfect awareness" and do remember "it is not a conspiracy "theory" if it is true, it is a conspiracy FACT!

Now I have my tin foil hat on permanently.  http://zapatopi.net/afdb/

 * FOOTNOTE: The American spelling** of aluminum is used here. If you are searching for more information on aluminum, be aware that the British spell it "aluminium" (and pronounce it accordingly).
