Now I'm just a middle aged crazy goat lady who you'd walk past in the feed store not knowing exactly who I am.

I don't believe that........but instead believe that you'd know, if not who, than what I am.................just from my aura or energy field, or womens intuition, or whatever you want to call it.........

Even some cowboy and indian outlaws in the 1800's eventually stopped sleeping under buffalo skins, and came to town to entertain paying customers. For some I imagine the bruising of their ego never healed.

We all have some scar tissue that never lets us completely forget the intent of the adventure.

But, in the end, I live and therefore I am. I don't need any other person's permission to live or defend myself. I don't need anyone's vetting of my intentions or sanity, nor approval for the self defense tool I choose or how I carry it.

I don't NEED to explain myself. I don't NEED any reasons at all.

In my exceedingly short lifetime i've learned that what is generally called ethics is a luxury of comfort, I hold myself accountable to my own conscience and try to act accordingly.

Where resources appear abandoned or about to be wasted- I will utilize them.   Brigands dividing up their spoils- I think their own words would damn them and I would eliminate them with no problems.   Bags of Ice are a null item simply no way to quickly store them or catch the water.  Setting on a car hood, could denote ownership-or a simply negligent other who used someones car for a shelf.....too ambiguous I would leave it alone.  The buried cache I would leave alone- someone has planned ahead and has it there for either a secondary plan and has an expectation of coming back for it.  If he is dead.....I do not know that but he could be if I loot his cache....I expect my caches to be left alone so I return the favor.

I would respect Ownership as best I could, I would also respect Right to life as best I could.  Those who Disrespect those natural rights could not expect anyone to respect theirs.

I am fond of principled non-aggression, but scarcity of resources, hunger, fear and pain are powerful motivators and I could easily see ethics going out the window if survival requires it. I would like to think that most on here would prefer the synergy of mutual resource and interests, and that predation would only occur in dire circumstances. In my experience, thoughtful resourceful people are less likely to be in such a state of need as to need to resort to banditry or the like.
