ACTOR Patrick Swayze has reportedly started saying goodbye to family and friends after learning his cancer has spread to his liver.

The Dirty Dancing and Ghost star, who in January was told he had pancreatic cancer, has started preparing himself for death, reports say

"Patrick recently got word that the cancer had spread to his liver and that is what his doctors said would begin the countdown to the end," a source told National Enquirer magazine.

"Patrick knew it was coming because he was suffering increased weakness.

"At times, he was so weak that he could barely walk without feeling faint. Sometimes he feels out of breath and has to sit down."

Wow, the National Enquirer says.... While a five-year survival of pancreatic cancer requires a roll of 1 on a 20 sided die, Mr. Swayze was quoted two weeks ago in the Chicago Tribune:

Quote
"But the lies that are constantly coming from the tabloids, it does get disheartening.

I think the latest one is, "Patrick has collapsed on the set and has chosen a burial plot next to his sister." They're printing the lies. Normally, I don't care what they write—but I'm not collapsing on the set. I'm thriving.

It's not easy. It's more a 24-hour-a-day job than anything I've ever done.

The fat lady can sing for any of us, at any time. In fact, the fat lady is singing right now. I have to go; we're shooting."

Let's wish him the best but not write him off yet.

Trust me ND, I will be happy if I'm proven wrong on this story....

Someone also emailed me a map showing the way the World and America would've looked during the course of the Movie

BTW Speaking of RED DAWN, Someone informed me you can buy Replica WOLVERINE Varsity Jackets and School Caps worn by the characters in the film.....

Can anyone shed any light on this ?

Swayze says he's winning fight against cancer

Dec 2 02:53 PM US/Eastern
NEW YORK (AP) - Patrick Swayze is angry about tabloid reports that say he doesn't have long to live.
The actor, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year, issued a statement Tuesday affirming that so far he is winning his fight against the disease and responding well to treatment.

Says Swayze: "They're reporting that I'm on my last legs and saying goodbye to my tearful family! ... It's upsetting that the shoddy and reckless reporting from these publications cast a negative shadow on the positive and good fight I'm fighting."

Swayze, who stars in the upcoming A&E series "The Beast," says such coverage is tantamount to "emotional cruelty," and angers him "when hope is so precious."
